The Ford GT’s relationship with the 24 Hours of Le Mans has waxed and waned through its three generations. The Ford GT40 was a tool borne from Henry Ford II’s desire to shove the trophy from the world’s most prestigious endurance race right up Enzo Ferrari’s tailpipe. "The Duce" earned that pleasure when Ford won Le Mans in 1966. The GT followed that up with wins in ’67, ’68, and ’69. While a few examples were built for the road, those chassis were merely sold to satisfy production requirements needed to race the GT40.

Another feature tied in with the electronic switches are warning alerts. Small LED “ready” lights glow on the dash of two of these saws accompanied by a few chirps when you turn them on. There are also separate warning lights that indicate trouble conditions.

Coolest detail: Permanent rear rack. Racks of all shapes and sizes are hardly unique among the craft-frame brands. But permanently welding the rack to a frame is a step further than usual. The rack’s design was inspired by French garden furniture, and is permanently welded so it can never come loose, said Sadoff. The idea of a welded rack came from a customer. “I had a request to build a commuter frame with a welded-on rack. I liked the customer’s concept enough to adopt it on my own bike,” he said.

Another interesting feature is the Gladiator’s rear suspension, which comes from the new RAM 1500 with a multi-arm configuration that significantly increases the comfort behind the wheel – an important element if you intend to drive this truck on a daily basis.

The tuning market for Porsche is big outside the U.S too and for evidence just take a look at this Blue Baltic colored 964 from Belgium. At 4 corners, Cargraphic Racing 18 ‘ wheels in black with chrome offset and the slammed stance make this 964 really cool and unique. Under the back cover, the Flat 6 aircooled engine is basically untouched (other than aesthetic treatment).

The SawStop is all performed at the front of the fence—much like a Biesemeyer fence system. Activation, however, is unique. You just push down on the far end of the red lever located in the top of the fence and frees the fence up to move. Once you push the lever back to its “flat” position, it locks down the fence. Once finger is all it takes. It also glides easily left and right when you control it (as you’re supposed to) from the front of the fence. This is a great fence and one of the easiest we’ve used.
