Even with the changeovers, Datum has one operator tending this workcell. How is that done? The Ford GT’s relationship with the 24 Hours of Le Mans has waxed and waned through its three generations. The Ford GT40 was a tool borne from Henry Ford II’s desire to shove the trophy from the world’s most prestigious endurance race right up Enzo Ferrari’s tailpipe. "The Duce" earned that pleasure when Ford won Le Mans in 1966. The GT followed that up with wins in ’67, ’68, and ’69. While a few examples were built for the road, those chassis were merely sold to satisfy production requirements needed to race the GT40.

Skilsaw was near the bottom in terms of stand portability with a lack of wheels, but still bears mentioning. The stand had a solid, wide base and attaches to the saw with a pair of clips. Its simplicity along with the saw’s light weight make it really attractive if you’re going to be transporting it in the bed of a truck rather than a trailer.

I’m running full-width Wagoneer axles. One thing I did that I haven’t seen before is that I cut and replaced all of the crossmembers, widening the frame to match the front axle spring pad widths. These are some very thin issues to have with the Gladiator. Pretend trucks don’t tow (Toyota found it was in the 30s of what people look for in little trucks). The lug… so what. Bed creativity/work version? Its a toy remember. Extended cab… with the Wrangler already offering more interior space keeping them double cabs for production reasons and as a place to put your stuff/bring your friends is probably smart.

It will never approach in sales any of the pretend trucks that have road manners. Even the Colorado and Canyon are safe from this thing.
