Modern electronic control systems and chassis module make a major contribution towards enhancing comfort and increasing safety in the vehicle. Automotive electronics are electronic systems used in road vehicles, such as engine management, ignition, radio, carputers, telematics, in-car entertainment systems and others. The automotive chassis module provides the required strength to support a vehicle’s components and the payload placed upon it. The suspension system contains the shock absorbers, springs, and other components that allow the vehicle to pass over uneven terrain without facing an excessive amount of shock due to the passengers or cargo. The steering mechanism is a significant portion of the chassis, as it provides the driver with a means to control the direction of travel. The tires grip the road surface to provide a good control that enables the vehicle to accelerate, brake, and make turns without skidding. One of the lightest and most compact table saws was also the most stable: Skilsaw. There’s no wheel base to the stand and the outward angled legs provide a wider platform than it may appear against its colleagues. We’re disappointed that the company that gave the world the RamBox didn’t provide a special feature or two integrated into the Gladiator’s bed or hiding underneath. The DeWalt saws make up the second tier of saws. They are solid performers where it counts but not faultless. Still, it posted runtime numbers up with the top saws. The identical 40 volt max saw that comes with the 4.0 Ah battery was a step below its brandmates in both speed and runtime output.

I ended up following drawn lines freehand, so I could push as hard and as fast as the saws would go while a helper recorded the times.

Here, finally, is everything you want to know about the new 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Okay, not exactly everything, because there’s still one important detail even we don’t have yet: the power number generated by the car’s supercharged 5.2-liter V-8. Ford says it won’t finalize the figure until the fall, once it’s wrung every single ounce of potential from the powertrain. For now, the company and Mustang chief engineer Carl Widmann are sticking to saying it’ll make “more than 700 horsepower.” Likewise, specific performance numbers aren’t yet public, but we were told to expect a sub-11-second quarter-mile and a zero-to-60-mph time in the mid-threes.

Perhaps the standout (or more appropriately, stand-up feature) of this Hitachi table saw is the fold/roll stand. It forms the bones of the saw, allows for accessory storage, houses the folded legs, allows the saw to transform into an upright cart to roll on its 8-inch all-terrain rubber wheels,  and stabilizes the upright saw for storage.

This is the bread/butter of SAE people. It’s engineering 101 for guys in that field. The total clamping force of the fasteners and the rim itself are what counts here.
