I could go on and on with troubles from faulty GM designed parts, here are a few well known problems I have owned. My first was 700R4 in 1982 Silverado the 2nd gear band would burn out do to Faulty piston design, 4 in pickup, 3 by dealer. How about the Roosa master fuel pump flex disc that disintegrated in 1982 Cutlass Supreme. Or the cracked heads around the water ports on my 1982 Silverado 6.2 diesel. Lets see my moms 1999 Deville NorthStar I had to do the head bolt stud thing. O yeah head gaskets in 3400 Venture. Transfer case chain 2005 Cadillac SRX. Timing chain set in 2009 Buick Enclave. Rear differential vibration, leaky seals and CUE screen on 2014 Cadillac ATS. Every single vehicle WELL UNDER 100,000 miles. I could take the time to go through my records and find more or more detail fi you want.
