I read something on the SRAM website (although I can find it now) that implied the AXS front derailleur did micro-adjustments based on which cog you’re on in the rear cassette (like Di2). Did you notice if that was the case on you’re test ride? Also do you have any insight as to how this group would work with Rotor Q-Rings? I have Q-Rings with the original etap and have struggled to set it up so the yaw derailleur doesn’t rub. Looking forward to the in-depth review in a few months.

Does that mean a positive or negative surprise? I am a solid believer in the potential of the Ranger but I’m very skeptical about Ford execs wanting Ranger sales to come at the expense of F150 sales in the $27-37k price range.

I simply love the rip fence, blade height adjustment, and tool storage on the SawStop JSS-MCA. The included Gravity Rise stand included with the Bosch Reaxx remains my favorite, however. The GT’s presence on the road is aggressive. The fender flares cover wide 285/30-19 and 335/30-20 Pirelli P Zero tires front and rear, respectively. Smith raised the front splitter 1-1/2" to accommodate the lower ride height and covered the bottom of the chassis with flat aluminum panels to smooth the air flow to the rear diffuser. The rear bumper and rocker panels are carbon fiber pieces like the Robertson Racing cars.

Another cause of spills is an oil tank with a filler neck that is too narrow. Bar and chain oil is thick and tacky and can pour like molasses in the cold, so it easily “piles up” and overflows in a narrow neck.

Enter Superlite Cars’ GT-R kit. Smith loaned the body molds from the Robertsons’ Ford GT race cars to Hall to reproduce the Superlite GT-Rs. Superlite Cars sells the GT-R as a rolling chassis, but like most car kits, there’s a lot of leeway for the builder to make the car as basic or sophisticated as desired.

As an example, sheet processing technologies such as laser, water jet, plasma cutting, and punching also have a very high level of flexibility, but are limited because after cutting, many parts go to bending. Press-brake bending technology can be automated, but it is not a flexible solution due to the limitation of bending tooling and the combination of 3D printing and fully automated sheet processing running manufacturing to Industry 4.0 bending force. The idea is to move designing sheet metal products with requirements for production with flexible robotized press-brake cells. It is possible to make technological processes with a fully automated design and production chain. This production is possible because a theoretical bending model calculates all material spring-back and spring-forward for complex bending geometrics and raw material verification.
