On my first pass, I tried to make the TransBrake reflexive and probed the surface to see what sort of grip was available. After I’d heated the rear drag radials with a proper burnout, I could hear the tires crackling on the sticky rubbered surface, which had been sprayed with TrackBite, a resin compound that enhances traction. It felt very odd to be standing on the throttle in a stationary car as if it were in park. The TransBrake is easy to get wrong (which I did at first); luckily, it simply reverts to off and you putter away from the starting line. Nothing breaks or explodes. Since this wasn’t an actual race, I paused, regrouped, backed up, and started the routine again. I got it right on the next attempt, and I could detect the rear of the car "sitting" down as the rear dampers went soft for the launch. Upshifts in Drag mode are right at the 6,000-rpm redline and very snappy without being harsh. The magnificent sound of the 6.4-liter Hemi should be part of our "Star Spangled Banner." Unlike carburetors and car "keys," that guttural V-8 roar is one of a handful of things that has remained nearly the same since the 1960s. It was a decent run, but I could tell the car and the track had more.

The discs are made from cast iron castings and are machined to tight tolerances and high surface finishes in low volumes. Alcon currently machines approximately 500 – 600 discs per week in the new cell. Brake disc diameters vary in size from 200mm to 405mm depending on the end application.

As another article on this page noted, Mopar will offer plenty of unique and creative bed organization add-ons, the Max Tow is basically a work truck. At this price point, though, you’d never find these in fleets anyway.

And on the trailer side, we have our products already. We have a long experience in Europe on trailer brakes. It is on the truck side and the bus side. We have the old model with dual stamp, but we have a new technology at single-stamp disc brake ready for truck and buses here end of this year.

Dust collection is above average with the M18 Fuel table saw’s design. You’ll notice a soft canvas-like layer that moves along with the blade bevel and helps deliver more dust to the port. Even if you’re working outside where you can shoot it out, sawdust doesn’t collect below the blade as much as a couple of our other saws.

Until the Jeep Gladiator, the Honda Ridgeline was the only mid-size player lacking a smaller four-door. Yes, crew-cab models are the big sellers in the class, but offering a simple extended-cab model — or even a regular cab — would give Jeep bragging rights about offering a longer bed (keep the single wheelbase option) for those who might want to use their bed for more than carrying luggage to the airport.

To me it made little difference. I rode the bike with 700c wheels and tires between 30 to 40mm wide and there were no dramatic handling differences. The standover height was noticeable but not bothersome since I primarily ride cyclocross bikes.
