I know the Worx HydroShot is not a pressure washer, but I decided to see what it and the rest of the Dawn solution would do on our driveway. With the pressure on high and the tip set to 15 degrees, it cleans off a pretty impressive amount of build up on the concrete. There’s not really the runtime to do the entire driveway in one shot, but it’ll work for some spot cleaning.

Question: Why is a press brake called a press brake? Why not a sheet metal bender or a metal former? Does it have to do with the old flywheel on mechanical brakes? The flywheel had a brake, like that on a car, allowing me to stop the motion of the ram before the forming of the sheet or plate began, or to slow the ram’s speed during forming. A press brake amounted to a press with a brake on it. I’ve had the privilege of spending a few years with one, and for many years I thought that was why the machine’s name is what it is, but I’m not sure that’s correct. It certainly doesn’t sound right, considering the word “brake” has been used to describe sheet metal bending long before powered machines came along. And press break can’t be correct, because nothing is broken or shattered.

The result is a seriously fast, undeniably sexy sports car that will reach 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds, before continuing to a top speed of 192 miles per hour.

And anyone thinking that a government which can’t even introduce taxi meters is going to do anything meaningful about public transport is living in dreamworld.

Also it could be time to put those yellow grids at some lights/roundabouts; don’t drive into that area unless your way is clear to drive out the other side of it.

With a claimed weight of 189g per pair with all hardware included, the tested brakes scaled-in just shy of that number. Considering that the brakes were weighed with several months of wear on the pads, the collective weight is likely right on the money. © Cyclocross Magazine

Ford’s latest GT has returned to its competitive roots. From the project’s genesis in 2015, it was built to win its class at Le Mans—which it did in 2016, finishing first and third. Ford’s historical nemesis, Ferrari, finished second and kept Ford from sweeping the podium. The current Ford GT is a genuine race car for the road. The production examples’ utility is more akin to a sport bike than a grand tourer, as only the bare essentials added to make the Ford GT usable for the street.

Additional Notes: This heavy saw lagged behind the rest of the full-size saw category as well as several of the more compact models in the test in both general performance and cutting power. The extra height of the 9.0 Ah battery pack keeps the saw from cutting at full depth, limiting cuts to about 2 1/4 inches (–1/8”).

Now, there is one big downside here: With the new chainring and DZero design for AXS, it comes as a single cohesive unit. This means you can’t swap the chainrings anymore. One could posit that means throwing away your power meter when you have to swap chainrings.
