No Work Truck Option Again we hate to complain, despite doing it constantly, but after all the whining we do about trucks being "cheap" and "stripped down" now what we really want is a work truck version of the one thing that is not meant to be a work truck at all. It’s like Jeep doesn’t even care about the rural postal service or chase crews, the two types of buyers who are least likely able to afford a 4-door Jeep truck that costs as much as a down payment for a house.

Another thing to mention is that our results are hardly conclusive. You could test these saws any number of ways. You could include countless angles, different amounts of force, and test various parts of the blade. You could use different materials, form hot dogs, to bratwursts, to highly-conductive foil insulation. There are endless ways to test these saws, and we only chose a few due to time constraints, number of blades and cartridges at your disposal, and our willingness to sacrifice our hands to the task!

Usually, I time circular saw trials with my homemade timing rig made of a straightedge with start and stop microswitches embedded along one side and wired to a hacked stopwatch. Unfortunately, in this test, I had enough saws that would not guide true against a straightedge so the rig couldn’t be utilized. A few saws pulled away from the guide and missed the second switch. Others ran in toward the guide and ground to a halt.

They can be useful off the bike too as a bungee replacement or when bikepacking for use with other equipment such as the Salsa Anything Cages.  

I know some talk about that, but I personally don’t notice it. I have both a Di2 bike and an eTAP bike of my own, and both are more than fast enough for me.

One interesting quirk here was that the Edge 1030 I was using wasn’t correctly understanding the 12-speed nature of the bike. It would only allow me to select 11 rear gears when I had two chainrings in the front. In talking with both Garmin and SRAM about this, they believe the gap is on the Garmin Edge side, and Garmin confirmed they’ve already got the ball rolling to correct it. [Update Mar 3rd, 2019: Garmin has issued a firmware update fix that solves this.]

I think a study on the school buses should be done, I’m sure they could be run more efficiently to reduce traffic.

Own and run large auto shop and do all auto work. Used to race, build race engines. Rebuild all vehicles new and old from engines to transmissions and everything in between. I kind of get a kick out of your 35 car family. Is that 35 cars at one time or over 50 years. Let me just say 4 of my cousins have 12 kids each. That’s 48 and only 4 cousins, and I have 16 cousins. I’m not even going to start counting there vehicles. Just my sister and her husband have 6 – F-250 pickups 2 – Lincoln Navigators, Dodge charger, 2 Corvettes, Lincoln MKZ, 10 Semi trucks, and I’m not sure maybe more now. One uncle has a new 19 RAM, Chrysler 300, Mercedes C-Class convertible. His son Tundra, and AUDI A-7. Just us my wife and 2 sons have 10 GM products now at this time one of 110, 1958, dual 4barrel, 4 speed, Corvette, white silver cove. 1968 Camaro. 2 – 1968 pickups, 2 Cobalt. Cadillac CTS. Cadillac ATS. Denali HD. Canyon All Terrain.

The reality is there is only so much money that can go into these vehicles at this price point. They can give you more this or that but it will either drive the price up, or cause cuts in other areas.
